Data centers – Turkey is massively upgrading!
Until a few years ago, Istanbul was only a meeting place for terrestrial and submarine cable systems for telecommunications and data traffic in the Middle East. Due to its special location, a center for transport, logistics, and finance, Istanbul is now also becoming a very important account point for digital data flows to and from Europe. More than 500 Turkish Internet providers, a growing population, the digitization of state and private sectors as well as the connection of Asia and Arabia via Istanbul with Europe/America gives Istanbul a gold rush mood. In the long term, German data center operators will have an extreme problem with the “green electricity” for their data centers in Europe. Turkey continues to massively expand hydro, wind, and solar energy. Sufficient customers for the heated data center exhaust air are also sufficiently available in various conurbations.
If you need now data center land in Turkey, please contact us.

Turkey (main transit country of the “New Silk Road”) in focus of chinese investors
When China unveiled the “One Belt and One Road” project with a volume of USD 1,300 billion in 2013, Turkey suddenly took a key position for China. With a doubling of the volume of goods transport by 2025 and a tripling by 2030, as well as the connection of India, Pakistan and Iran via the Southern Span, with Istanbul and Edirne as a transfer point to Europe, this area is gaining the main attention of Chinese investors.
With Sinosure as the state-owned Chinese credit insurer of the Turkish sovereign wealth fund TVF (USD 5 billion), large-scale projects are handled smoothly with Turkish state-owned companies. Alibaba bought the Turkish Trendyol, Chinese companies expressed interest in building the 2nd Bosphorus Canal and more on a highway project company lot went to China. Chinese tourism is also expected to increase fivefold by 2023. Reason enough for Chinese investors/companies to position themselves in Turkey in a timely and broad-based way.
South Africa – Investor country for wine growing and tourism
The province of Western Cape with the district “Garden Route” is becoming more and more interesting for international investors. The region has come through the pandemic well and national tourism is already starting again. The wine-growing region of Plettenberg (Bitou municipality) has also been at the area of Plettenberg for some time. Large properties with wine, olives and other products, combined with tourism, are increasingly subject to the special focus of international investors. The South African rand is currently recovering respectably, but is still far from its old strength. Thus, “NOW” is the right time for your targeted investments.
